The Texas Fence Fixer, a handy tool for farmers and ranchers, was invented by Ken Evans in the early 80's when he was ranching in San Saba & Seguin, Texas. “If you're like me you've spent a lot of hours mending fences using a come-along, pieces of pipe, or anything you could get your hands on. It's a back breaking, knuckle busting, time thieving chore. I figured there had to be an easier & faster way.” After a lot of experimenting & modifying, he found that way & The Texas Fence Fixer was born. Ken started production with his wife, Dorie, in their back yard.
For several years, the tool was produced in a shop located in Seguin, Texas but one day at a farm show Ken was approached by & decided to contract with a company to build and sell the tool. That went on successfully.
for several years, however now the Evans' have brought the tool back to Seguin, Texas. In their 5000 sq. ft. facility, they will be able to maintain control of production and be able to continue providing a tool that is built to the quality farmers and ranchers have come to expect.
There have been many that have tried to reproduce The Texas Fence Fixer, but all have failed to create a tool to the standards that allow the Evans' to offer a lifetime guarantee. If this tool breaks or has any problems they will replace it, no questions asked.
